Hey Guys,I just installed Thaumcraft3 after following all the install instructions but it keeps crashing.
It gives me this crash report.
I am running a mac by the way.
Any help?
I installed Forge correctly,(It works for other mods,Mo Creatures for instance). And the Thaumcraft3 .zip is in the mods folder.

The file name you have doesn't look legit. (Thaumcraft3.zip) If the file name was edited, who knows if anything else was changed.
The original files from the official source always have the full version number in the zip name. (Thaumcraft3.0.2c.zip)

Tried downloading Thaumcraft from that link,still got the same issue.
Minecraft just doesn't like me? Btw,thank you for trying to help me.
The error also mentions the config file. May want to try and delete the thaumcraft config file, and see if that fixes it.
That did the trick,who would have thought a config folder would cause so much trouble?

Sorry, I'm new to mods and stuff. Where can I find the config file? I'm having this exact same problem. (I'm using Windows if that counts).

I went to .minecraft and found my config folder, and then deleted Thaumcraft from it, but I'm still crashing.
Help? It says Thaumcraft will work for 1.5.1, but should I try 1.4.7?

Retired StaffThe file name you have doesn't look legit. (Thaumcraft3.zip) If the file name was edited, who knows if anything else was changed.
The original files from the official source always have the full version number in the zip name. (Thaumcraft3.0.2c.zip)

Sorry, I'm new to mods and stuff. Where can I find the config file? I'm having this exact same problem. (I'm using Windows if that counts).

I think I've figured it out...still getting this crash report though. It seems to be pretty much the same as Agent_Rourke.

I went to .minecraft and found my config folder, and then deleted Thaumcraft from it, but I'm still crashing.
Help? It says Thaumcraft will work for 1.5.1, but should I try 1.4.7?
