Help!

I was recently doing random stuff with the .minecraft folder,and I copyed and deleted it.

So I put the copy to my desktop and put it back.

Then, I went on to minecraft and got to my mod world, and it was a older save.

I was wondering if anyone can help me fix this cause I had around 20 diamonds.

Please help ASAP.

Did you save the world before deleting it? You should have backed it up first.

Well, I copied and pasted it but somehow when I pasted the .minecraft onto my desktop,
It was a different save of the world.
