I get 55-60 fps in Crysis 3 (max settings + FXAA)...
40-55fps in Minecraft vanilla (After loading a lot of chunks runs at maximum 145fps but falls when I'm walking)
15-25fps in Minecraft with SEUS shaders mod + Optifine
Only Java is running that bad...
My hardware:
AMD Phenom II x6 Black Edition (6 cores)
Nvidia GTX 680 Super Overclock (Gigabyte)
10GB RAM Corsair 1333ghz
Windows 7, Java and drivers are up to date...
Change the view distance do nothing.
Anyone knows the problem? :/
How are you only getting 40-55 fps on a that card o.o I run 80-120 fps on my mac mini. Also the new Minecraft launcher supports setting the memory allocation. Just click on edit profile and change the bottom field from -Xmx1024M to -Xmx2048M or whatever you want to allocate. From what I hear there are some lag issues with the new 1.6.1 update, but I haven't played around with it enough.

I tried 512mb, 1gb, 2gb, 4gb, 8gb... FPS still the same, it's not a problem with the amount of RAM apparently
Any version of Minecraft is getting low FPS...
