Hello i have been interested in FTB lately and i saw this server that is now FTB and i want to join however being on a mac FTB is not co-operating as i am having many issues i have tried downloading the newest java
AND back-dating it to what it was originally i have a .command file that starts it up for mac with a previous crash on start up bug / error on the DW20 pack I've been using my friend google and I've found many people struggling some figured it out but its not working for me i know some people are really good with macs im not one of them, plz help me and probably many other people
What happens: use the launch.command file that uses the coding that lets you start up ftb on mac ( the ~cd/ftb/blahblahblah.idontreallyknow ) then it loads up so i hit multiplayer, i add the server it connects to the host and then i click the "join" button and it says logging on for a semi-long time and then compleatly turns black ( some times white ) then m forced to quit it and try again and/or something else i have no such luck
but i would like some :3 if you know how to fix / have this problem plz post a comment and help me and/or some one else out Thanks for taking your time and letting me bore your to death with this extralongsentacnesfDH vaye yfeuoeoYSENI

Open up the launcher, go into options, go into advanced options, and paste this into additional java parameters:
-Xms256m -XX:PermSize=128M -XX:MaxPermSize=256m
Theres no way they fixed it. I still crash, and when I use the code (below) it just freezes me on the mojang screen. NOTE: this only occurs with ultimate pack, the other packs work
cd ~/Desktop/ftb/
export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6/Home
java -jar FTB_Launcher.jar

You need to copy paste it into another tab, otherwise it wont work
You realize it says LOCALHOST right? that means its on your computer, which means we cant access it.
Upload the picture to imigur or something.
