I am trying to download minecraft forge and i need to open my minecraft jar folder. I right click on it and it does not say open with winrar like it should.
Is there another way to do it? If so please explain
Make sure you have the right winrar. There's 32 bit and 64 bit. Here's how to tell if you have a 32 bit or 64 bit:
Open System by clicking the Start button , right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties.
Under System, you can view the system type.
If your computer is running Windows XP, do the following:
Click Start.
Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
If you don't see "x64 Edition" listed, then you're running the 32-bit version of Windows XP.
If "x64 Edition" is listed under System, you're running the 64-bit version of Windows XP.
I uninstalled the 32 and got the 64 bit but when i right click right click minecraft jar it doesnt say open with it just says ope and the a bunch off ways to extract it.
No, it's not something wrong with his Winrar, I have a fully functioning Winrar and it's doing the same thing to me right now. It's worked just fine before, so there's no reason for it not to work right now.

It could also be that you didnt install Winrar correctly.Try uninstalling Winrar and installing it again, with a tutorial maybe.
