My bad.. I have core i3 3227u intel hd 4000 6gb ram - 1.5.2 doesnt do this only this version and ive played alpha tons of times and this has never happened.. All of my drivers are up to date, I'm on java 7..
Dunno if this helps, but seems like only entities are glitchy. That big white/gray wall was probably a chicken. And why do you even want to play alpha anyway?

It seems like the version changer might have corrupted the files, maybe. Try it again. Is this the Official New minecraft launcher version changer? If it is, report the bug to mojang.
