I originally noticed this issue with with 1.4.7, but it seems to be more prevelent in 1.5.2. I run minecraft on Linux (Scientific Linux 6.3 specifically) and while playing 1.4.7 I started having an issue that when I would open a world in a maximized window, I would only get the "back to game" menu. I was able to figure out that if I opened the world with the default window size then maximize the window it would work fine. However, with 1.5.2 file I would get the "back to game" menu no matter what I did, unless I was in full screen mode. My mods with 1.4.7 were ZanMap and Growable Items, mods with 1.5.2 are ZanMap are Growable Items (Forge versions). I am not really looking for a solution, especially since I know the work-around, just wanted to inform so maybe a fix can be found.
