Hello, I just did the installation of MC Forge and a mod. I had just finished it, I opened Minecraft and it started doing the normal login. It showed the login, then the mojang display, then it just went black. I waited for it to load, and it didn't. I have tried a few things, none of them have worked. I deleted some texture packs that were really HD, uncessary I now see. I didnt delete forge or anything because I was scared it might mess something up. If anyone could help, it would be welcomed.

You didn't have to delete the texture packs, just force update it. After that Extract Forge onto your minecraft.jar (It is crucial that you delete the META-INF folder) and you're done with the Forge part. After that. go to your .minecraft folder and check your mods and your coremods folder and check if anything is inside those folders, if there is, delete it. As for the mod, different mods can be installed differently, just look up a tutorial for it. Glad to help
