I was trying to mod my game with an x ray mod -note i have never modded a game before and was using a dummies guide) and i followed the instructions in order... yes i deleted the meta folder when i was supposed to. Then i opened my game, it loaded and... bam black screen. I read somewhere it was to do with the whole forge thing but i uninstalled that and it still didn't help. Please reply asap!Nevermind... i deleted the jar folder, ran minecraft again to reinstall it... and it worked.
