I have a $2,000 Desktop I use mostly for work, but as an advid Minecraftopian, I had quite a large collection of mods, texture packs, shaders, the works.
A few months ago I installed Minecraft on my 12 year old sister's laptop and let her use my Alt account. We she's jealous because she doesn't have the fancy stuff I have on my desktop.
So what are some resource friendly mods? I don't mean things that can be complicated like Buildcraft or even something like FTB, just something RPGish and fun for a young child. She has a HP Pavilion g6 and I installed OptiFine. She has like 60 fps (while I have about 600 with mods and all) so I don't really know what would work..
So any ideas? I was thinking of things like maybe MinecraftComesAlive, Bibliocraft, Twighlight Mod, and some popular RPG mods. Maybe a 32x texture pack to make things nice...
Anybody here who has some good mods on their old or cheap laptops?
