I'm using minecraft 1.4.6 because red power hasn't updated and I have this hollowed out area that I made using a frame machine. Their are phantom lights ALL over the place, any idea how to fix it or what the cause is?
Open world in MCEdit and change a block of grass into dirt or something like that, and save, it re-lights the chunks, you have to edit something first, or 'delete' the air blocks above the chunks, like this:

aaaaaaaa
Where the brackets are air and the As are blocks, do it at the height limit so you don't delete anything

windoge 8 has the saddest excuse for a BSOD, it just tells you the type of error, no stop code, no nothing, just "something went wrong, all your unsaved work has now been lost to the void that is volatile memory"
