hi i am currently on a macintosh and i have been trying to install a mod caled pixelmon but whenever i try to go on minecraft is says would you like to update (i am curently on 1.5.2.) and i click yes and i even tried not now but it says the same thing

fatal error occured (4): /Users/[my name] (i am not going to post it on here/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
any help on how to fix would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. i do not know if this is where i post this because i do not know if it is the mod causing it
