Edit: I've figured out that the problem was. I had had TMI installed, but he somehow didn't anymore, so the game seemed to have been receiving nulls when loading TMI's odd blocks and data values. ^ ^"
My brother and I have been playing over LAN play together, and whenever he tries to join in on the world's server, he receives a message from Forge about mismatched IDs between world and game, and then forces him back to the sever select screen. Only problem is that these mismatched ID's are only normal vanilla Minecraft blocks... namely the ones that have data values such as spawners and red/brown mushroom blocks. I do not ever receive any mismatched ID errors upon reentering the world, but he does. The mod config files are supposedly exactly the same between both clients, because I have simply sent his computer copies of the ones I have been using. We are only currently able to begin a new world together and have anything run smoothly until I shut the world down/ it randomly crashes and forces it down (I am usually the one hosting). Up until that point, he is always able to return to the game without mismatch errors, even if he leaves the server for whatever reason. Help will be gladly appreciated if anyone has any idea what is going on... Having to completely start worlds over just to play with my little brother is a bit frustrating. :')
