So, Minecraft has a black screen after the Mojang logo.
But for some reason it's only the mods that give me a black screen. All except Too many items, oddly enough. Here's everything I have loaded:
--Too many Items
--Forge Mod Loader
That's all--but whenever I put in a mod into the 'mods' folder I get a black screen. I even tried loading one into the minecraft jar file, but that didn't do anything either. So I took out the mod, started it up again, and it worked. Any help? I made a video if you need help explaining better;
If I could get help on this, I will love you forever.
The mods I tried to load in the video;
--Jammy's Furniture Mod 1.5.1
--fossils and archiology mod 1.5.1 pre-release build
No crash report, only black screen. I also deleted the full META-INF. Please help!

Have you checked that the fossils mod .zip could be corrupted? Might be worth a shot to redownload it and try the new one.
I can try that. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to put the Pre-Release build in the mods or not. :L That's the only one out for 1.5.2
I was screwing around with it trying to find a solution and got the log above. I think I put the fossils folder {mods folder} in the mods and put the info in minecraft.jar. I took recording of that too that I might put up.
Also another thing that might be is that I had 1.5.2 and Jammy's furniture was 1.5.1 :L If that has anything to do with it. So thank you, and I will try that now and get back with results.
I re-installed/re-downloaded the pre-release but it didn't do anything. So then I tried another one--I went and got Mo' creatures with Custom Mod Spawner and GUI api. The only one that works is GUI api--the only one that went into the minecraft.jar file. I think I'm going to try to copy my bin and get the universal mod loader to see if there's any difference, instead of having forge.
What I did was I put in the universal with my original mod loader and GUI api, put in the mods, and it worked. ;D I just have to put in Tmi now. ^^ Thanks so much for helping~

I'll be sure to post with any more problems.
