I have my own server, that no one uses but me. I tried using craftbukkit in it, and followed a video, but I'm not actually sure if it's loaded or used or not. I had been using the server for about a week, and then something went weird.
I loaded my server up, which had previously been fine after exiting and going in, and I wasn't in my bed, and was in some random part of a jungle. I was upset that my spawnpoint had changed for no reason, complained to a friend, and they told me about programs that map the world, so you can quickly scan the world.
I found my ship on the map, using Minutor after loading my world folder into the program, and tp'd myself to the coordinates there.
I was in the right place, but everything I had was gone, my ship, everything I had spent forever making.
I figure if the program that I loaded my world folder into picked up the data from the ship I had built, then maybe something just went weird with the load, and there might be someway to fix it.
No, I don't think it crashed. I had exited normally and turned off the server when I went to work, when I came back and turned them both on, I had the problem.
Did you use the stop command? If not, there's your problem

windoge 8 has the saddest excuse for a BSOD, it just tells you the type of error, no stop code, no nothing, just "something went wrong, all your unsaved work has now been lost to the void that is volatile memory"

Any idea what happened?
