Okay, so I go to download Minecraft Comes Alive. I'm a noob at installing mods, and I couldn't really work MagicLauncher with Forge and Optifine clashing. I, being the idiot I am, put the names and the languages into the .jar folder. I thought I was doing it right. I open minecraft and it goes to the Minecraft Menu, as usual. It was at least english. But it was different. The text was like the Pirate speak text in the game. So I fish out every one out of the minecraft.jar folder. The text was still the same as before. I open my server list, but all the servers were red. They had the little question marks on them. I refreshed and somehow got into a server. The space bar didn't work, so Ihadtotypelikethis. I heard that you could delete your Minecraft jar and start up minecraft again to get a fresh jar, but it DIDN'T WORK. It's just stuck on the 'loading update' screen at the 95% part. I'm scared. Have I messed up Minecraft? Should I do the 'Force Update' thing? I'm really bad at this kind of stuff, HELP!
Well, I don't know how to fix the problem, but the most important thing are your save files.
To get them, go to %appdata%, then go to .minecraft, and access the "saves"folder.Put those somewhere else. After doing this, COMPLETELY delete everything in the .minecraft folder,(In other words, uninstall minecraft)
Then re-download minecraft, and place the saves you backed up earlier in the "saves"file.
ALL of this might not be necessary, I dunno.maybe someone else will have a better solution.
