Hey so MC 1.5.1 was my first experience playing minecraft, and i used optifine so i could get rid of void fog. Now with 1.5.2 out, I'm assuming i need to update my optifine. My main question is, do i redownload a new updated optifine and delete the old one? I just want to make sure I don't delete anything I'm not supposed to and lose my multiplayer server or anything else important i need.

you get a new minecraft.jar and install optifine on that and then replace it with the old one

You get minecraft to update, then download optifine for 1.5.2, then re-install it
