I created a world a while back (with mods installed), and I want to update some old chunks so that it will load up some new ores from a mod (Superheroes Unlimited) that was updated to a new version.
It introduced vibranium ore, which is something I want - but I can't get.
So I downloaded MCedit in hopes of updating the old chunks to make the new ore, but I have no idea how to use it.
So how can I update old chunks? (NOT something like placing a block next to another block that is affected by gravity in mid-air so that the gravity pulls it down)

Old chunks can't be updated as they've already been generated without the mod.
You'll have to go in search of new chunks.
It means that if you already played in those chunks without the mod, then you can't have them made with the mod -- they already exist.
You'll have to go exploring until you get to new chunks that get generated with the mod.

What does that mean?
