Whenever I attempt to install a mod to minecraft it freezes on the done loading screen and I dont get any farther. The mod I am trying to install is optifine and followed the instructions perfectly.
1. Get a clean new minecraft.jar
2. Get a fresh copy of Optifine (According to your Minecraft version recommend 1.5.2.)
3. Delete META-INF in minecraft.jar
4. Drag the content from the Optifine.zip to the minecraft.jar
5. Open Minecraft and try.
