I'm trying to add mods using Forge but whenever I start minecraft a black screen always appears after the mojang sign. I deleted the meta inf folder. Optifine and TMI work, but mods like Mo' Creatures and Computercraft don't work. What can I do to get them working? Thanks!

Force update to get a clean install of Minecraft, then mod it. Remember to delete the META-INF first, then replace it with Forge's.
A black screen is showing that Minecraft couldn't start, so something has been performed incorrectly during your modding. Remember to put mod JAR files in the 'mods' folder in your Minecraft directory.

I did what you said step by step, and again I get the black screen when I put Mo Creatures into the mods folder. Again optifine and tmi work

I think there's some audio that you have to put it somewhere in the minecraft folder. check the mo's creature mod forum for the instruction for installing the mod.
