My mods are: Forge 7.8.0.691, Damage Indicators v2.6.8, Alchemine v1.2.1, backpacks v1.8.11, MoFoods (I don't know the version), More Swords v2.4.4, more furnaces v1.3.4, Mrjohnsons Mod! v1.5.2 (That's the file name but it's really the cotton candy mod), Pet Bats, random additions, Tale of Kingdoms v1.4.3.1, Update checker, and Balkon's Weapon mod. I use Minecraft 1.5.2. Oh, I almost forgot! I also have Better Bows mod and I use MCPatcher (all of the default mods).
So, I used all of these mods since yesterday (long time right?) and it worked fine. Today I went looking for a couple good texture packs. I found this one, Ravand's realistic pack, and I tried to download it but it wouldn't work. It kept telling me to update my Java, but I knew the Java update was fake and probably a virus. I tried again in FireFox and it worked. I tried the texture pack but there was only a few changes and it was nothing like the screenshots. So I deleted it. Then I got another of his texture packs but I couldn't (and still cant) try it because Minecraft closes after it shows the "Mojang" screen. Also, a little text document shows up on my desktop. I would put one in a spoiler, but I don't know how XD sooo... yeah. that's it. Could someone help me out?
EDIT: It's working now. I got rid of my texture packs, And now it's fine. I'd still like to know exactly why it happened... Oh well.
