I'm using the latest version 32-bit java, and the most recent Mindcrack FTB modpack (- gregtech). I'm using windows 8.
Alright, so I just started playing FTB a couple days ago, and used the Mindcrack modpack. After awhile I found the recipes too difficult, so I removed gregtech and started up my minecraft again.
I received these messages in the console when I started up my old world:
2013-02-22 15:26:48 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] Detected leaking worlds in memory. There are 4 worlds that appear to be persisting. A mod is likely caching the world incorrectly
2013-02-22 15:26:48 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 11ab467 (Clustercraft) has leaked.
2013-02-22 15:26:48 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 1a8708a (Clustercraft) has leaked.
(I know I know, I can't think of good world names...)
I didn't think much of it at the time, but recently my minecraft crashed with the following messages:
2013-02-22 15:37:18 [INFO] [STDERR] at rq.a(SourceFile:252)
(A bunch of these popped up, all with different source file numbers)
All of the log can be found here if it helps: http://pastebin.com/pMcV5TLw
I would really appreciate some help on this. Is the crashing lethal? Are the "leaked world" and the crashing linked?
yep I got the same error... From what a heard is something with chicken Chunks.... I still get this error I cant play more and 10 minutes and then crash =(
Thats because it is chicken chunks. Disable it simply by:
1. Open ftb launcher
2. Edit the modpack with the world leaking in memory error
3. Disable 'chickenchunks'
Before I made the world I'm using I went out of my way to disable all Chickenbones mods (I have severe lag and other problems with modpacks, NEI was causing problems and so forth) but I started getting "leaking world" messages as soon as I went to the Nether and started playing with Mystcraft linking. It crashed once or twice but sometimes seems to not cause any problems.
I was having similar problems with my server. Am I able to disable it by removing "chickenchunks.jar" from the mods folder?
Or will that jack up the server even further?
