Hi. I have a mac. On my minecraft version, i am using 2 mods, optifine and glsl shaders (to run sildurs shaders). For some reason, chunks underwater appear black or just shadowy. When i go near the chunks, it fixes itself, but i don't feel like going throughout the entire minecraft ocean to fix this. How do i remove this glitch?
Also, chunks even deeper are completely black, and don't load. Please Help (clear water doesn't work on the completely black chunks, and only helps on the shadowy chunks when its within a certain radius).

Shadowy Chunks (on one shader pack, and how it should look without the wierd shadow chunks)

How it should look:
Heres the black block glitch i was talking about (using sildurs shaders v11 amd). Notice all blocks on the bottom of the ocean are all black:
Is it minecraft, optifine, or glsl shaders? I'm pretty sure its not the shaderpacks; seus has this problem too. Also, are there any fixes in optifine i can impliment in the video settings?
First issue,
That is Minecraft's lighting engine doing that. Would need Mojang to fix it.
Second issue,
That is normal.
Hello. I found a fix for it.
Make sure clear water is on, but put the brightness all the way up. I guess it increases the range of visibility through water.
Anyway, thanks for the help.
