i run on a windows xp home edition, and minecraft has worked perfectly for me until today, with very little lag, nothing wrong. however i went to play on it today and this appeared:

Java virtual machine launcher

Error:could not create the java virtual machine.
Error: a fatel exeption has occured. program will exit.

i tried restarting and i t didnt work. Please help!

oh yeah and its the latest version of mc (1.2.5) and im loading the modes: modloader, modloader mp, toomanyitems, singleplayercommands, and more explosives.

please help!

I am having this same problem with minecraft. Started recieving these messages earlier today. I have updated my NVIDIA driver, and my java 32bit is up to date. If anyoun has a possible solution to this, pls respond.

I have a problem when i try to open Minecraft. i tried Minecraft both on a laptop and a reformatted computer, both come up with the message ( Error: could not create the java virtual machine. Error: a fatal exception has occurred. program will exit. )Minecraft used to work on both of them before.

I have searched around the Web for solutions and none have worked. I have tried re installing Java plenty of times, installing Minecraft again and changing settings but the same problem occurs.

All i want to do is play Minecraft but now i can't, someone please help!

I got this. Can anyone help me? I tried to reinstall it but still doesn't work. This is for the voidswrath launcher but I get the same error on a normal Minecraft launcher.

Hi. When trying to run the Voidswrath launcher to use Crazy Craft 3.0, I get the Java VM Error- same as those above. I tried using the link provided in this thread for running the diagnostic script, but it seems that it's gone.

If there is a solution to this issue please tell me what to do. If I absolutely must run the reporting script, please provide the current location.
