So I recently installed Bibliocraft, (and Forge). I also have Optifine. Now, in one of my singleplayer worlds, my main and favourite one, the surface near my house is dropping my FPS to around 25. I normally run 50 - 60 fps (with VSync on). If I go to the Nether, underground, or away from my house, the lag stops. I have an animal farm (with about 3 pigs, 5 chickens, and a cat in my house) I have a normal shelf, two potion shelves, and a shelf near my nether portal (I may want to add that near the nether portal, which is underground, the lag stops), a tool rack above my Anvil, a desk in my bedroom, and an armor stand in the basement. Also, two armor stands in a sky-base (lag free as well). What is causing the lag? Is my PC just hating MC + Bibliocraft? Is my world screwed up? Please help. Thanks.

Dell XPS 15z laptop, Nvidia GeForce GT 525M, Intel Core i5-2450m CPU at 2.50GHz, RAM 6.00 GB, 64 bit Windows 7. Sorry for not providing this information in OP.
Turns out it was my Potion shelves. Nothing wrong witht the mod, just all the items and enchantment glows were raping my rather crap PC. Oh well. Removed potion shelves, and now my house is a semi usuable area once again.
So my question is, my FPS drops to 0 in about 10 minutes if i go outside of 500 m from spawn why is this?
I can think of three possibilities: One, generating new chunks is slow, in which case the lag would subside when you stop going places you have never been to before. Two, your hard drive is slow, in which case moving around will be laggy while chunks are loaded, even in areas you have already visited. Three, a mod you installed recently (after creating spawn) adds an ore which is laggy to render. The solution then would be to delete that mod and ask the mod's author about the lag issue.
