Hey all,
This morning I wanted to try a new mod, well this mod required Forge so I had to go and install Forge. After some tinkering, I was unable to get the client to load.
So I deleted the bin folder and started over again. I tried this probably 5 different times before giving up with Forge and just saying screw it. Well now I'm trying to reinstall Modloader, which was working just fine before this fiasco, and now I cannot install it.
I'm following the obvious steps:
Go into minecraft.jar
Delete META-INF
Copy-paste the modloader folders into the .jar folder.
Run the game.
Now when I do this, I'm getting a java error:
Minecraft has crashed!
----------------------
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem; Exception occured in ModLoader

The only thing I'm doing different that I can personally think of is that I was having issues with 7zip. My computer would never remember to use 7zipFM to open folders, and I had to navigate the disk every single time I wanted to open minecraft.jar. Well I got sick of this, and decided to try out WinRAR instead.
WinRAR did it's job, worked as promised. However, it seems like it is not installing mods correctly. When I try to go back to 7Zip, and try adding files via that method, it's now telling me the action is not supported!
WTF!
Anyway, does anyone know what I am doing wrong here. I'm clueless what I'm doing wrong. My method I used a hundred times before suddenly doesn't work and it's pretty damn annoying.

Next time upload the crash report file not the screen.
This is due to either a corrupted file, missing file, or spelling error.
So I went and double-read the report haha. Thought I was supposed to send that, until I read the fine print
Anyway... apparently the chainz mod folder and or zip was causing the error. I got it fixed
