I'm having an issue currently with Minecraft where after maybe 15 minutes of play, the game suddenly becomes horribly laggy. For instance, it'll render one frame, then take 2-3 seconds to render the next.
I'm playing on a machine more than capable of Minecraft, when it is running fine, with maximum settings it's still smooth as butter, but after a while the issue pops up again. I can fix it by restarting minecraft, but I'll end up with the same issue after a length of time.
I'm only using an xray mod, and other than that, the game is vanilla. I played the game with this mod for a weeks before getting this issue so I don't think it's the problem.
What Comp specs?
render distance?
type of settings in mc?
non-game friendly apps?
computer specs, AMD 6 core processor overclocked at 4.0gHz, Nvidia GTX 670 2gb, 8gb of RAM.
Render Distance = Max
Type of Settings in MC = Max
non-game Friendly apps: Like? I'm not really running anything besides iTunes usually, occasionally my web browser is open on my second screen.
as I said, the issue only occurs after a while. It's not a memory error as far as I can tell because the game hardly ever maxes out past 400mb of cache.
See,this is the PROBLEM! Even with a beast computer.Minecraft WILL LAG its not fully optimised for ALL computers.lower the render distance and other settings.
