I've been trying to fix this problem forever, here's the specs:
10.6 osx mac, I've had minecraft forever, and have had sound up until now
I just finished installing all my mods and no sound is coming out of my speakersnor headphones in minecraft.I HAVE ALREADY TRIED RE-INSTALLING THE RESOURCE FOLDER AND FORCE UPDATE AND RE-INSTALL MINECRAFT IN TOTAL, AND I'VE TRIED DOING F3 + S.
Mods:
Optifine
Chat Macro Mod
Rei's Minimap
Armor HUD
Status HUD
Direction HUD
Too many Items
Single Player Commands
Forge
Minecraft Coder Pack
bspkrs Core (required for the HUD mods above^, thats all)
Inventory Tweaks
My Chat Macro makes a clicking sound when I spam a keybind.
I can provide any logs, more details if needed, ask anything I'll be able to supply an answer!
Please if anyone could help me, that'd be amazing, and I'd do something in return for you
I've got an idea that someone should have told you a long time ago *everyones a god damn dummy for not saying this* Ok the lwjgl changes everything it changes sounds and all that stuff so you need to update it do NOT get lwjgl 2.8.5 get lwjgl 2.8.4 or get 2.9.0 here is the link for where to download here is the help for how to do it and finally here is the 2.9.0 verison WARNING DO NOT GET 2.8.5 IT BROKE MY SHIFT CLICK if 2.8.4 doesn't work then use 2.9.0 see if it helps

I tried both versions, and manually and the auto-installer. My minecraft sound still doesn't work and the screen keeps blinking/glitching

Does minecraft work correctly unmodded? if it does then one of your mods is screwing up

Minecraft is awesome but the more powerful god is not Notch it's the creator of valve

Yes it's working unmodded, but I'm not sure whats wrong with the mods, they all have never had this bug (looked through hundreds of comments/replies on their minecraftforum thread).
I can make a video, screen shot, ANYTHING you need, options file, logs, updating it, the sound problem, anything.

Hmm Try installing the mods one at a time tell you get the same error then delete whatever mod makes it happen *Note that this will take a long time cause of all the testing but it will be worth it*

I'm not the best at installing mods so I got my friend to send me his modpack. It works perfectly for him and he has the same computer specs. So I can't really re-install the mods...
I think it has to do something with my settings in my minecraft folder. Do you need a video or screenshot of anything, if so don't be hesistant to ask. Thanks for responses.
