I have been trying to get mods eversince Minecraft 1.5.1 came out. 1.5 had no problems!!! I delete META-INF and drag the files in the winRAR archive (Not in a file) but I get Stuck on the MOJANG screen, Black Screen comes up, or it says Done Loading and it would never go. I install forge and modloader with any mod the requires it but it wont work.
forge and modload together maybe a problem as forge has a modloader built in.
Also with forge now you don't delete the meta-inf folder.
Copy the files as normal, then open the meta-inf folder and delete the files with mojang in the name
