My Minecraft launcher was able to load well, no black screen, no crashing, and other what-not. It was even able to load the map. However, whenever I passed by the snow biome, my Minecraft screen would freeze and crash. When minecraft is restarted and the map reloaded, the application would crash again. I reverted the map to a previous version's (thank notch I backed up my files) and sure enough, the map was able to load again. However, the same crash happens whenever I walk past the snow biome.
After looking through the crash report, I thought the CraftableAnimals mod was the cause, so I ran it as administrator and other jazz to grant it all possible privileges, but the same error occurred, I know I may sound like an idiot now, but this is the first time I've ever encountered a Ticking Tile Entity crash, so I was really at a lost then.
My mods installed are:
[Forge]
OptiFine
Pet Bats
CraftableAnimals
SpecialArmour
Backpack mod
VillageSpawner
ChickenCore Dependency
NotEnoughItems

Does Minecraft crash everytime you try to load a world, or does it crash halfway when roaming the map?
If the latter is the case, then the solution is simple: Find out which mod is causing your Minecraft to crash, and simply remove the mod when exploring the crash-prone area. For example, after looking through my crash report, I've noticed that the CraftableAnimals mod by naruto[something-something] is causing the crash at a particular spot of my world. I simply removed that mod from the mods folder, and true enough, Minecraft no longer crashes when I explore that area. If you want the mod contents back, simply travel away from the error-prone chunk far enough until it is out of sight, sign out of the session, put back the mod, and relaunch Minecraft. If you ever happen to go there by accident and Mc crashes again, remove the mod.
Troublesome, but at least it saves you from the trouble of reverting back previous saves and losing all your un-backed up progress.
