FIrst, sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum area, i'm a newbie and wasn't quite sure where to put this.
I have an ultrabook, a lenovo 310 touch. It's running an ivy bridge i5-3337u, with Intel HD Graphics 4000 only.
Minecraft runs just fine, my only client mods are Optifine, Rei Minimap, Single Player Commands, and Too Many Items. However, i'm having that glitch associated with optifine 'multi-core loading' where chunks will randomly disappear as they update. Smooth updates works without issue, of course, but i'd prefer to use the multi-core loading.
On my desktops, running both Nvidia and ATI GPUs, you can turn off threaded optimzation or Open GL optizmation for java, and all is well. But, there is no such setting in the intel preferences for the HD graphics panel.
Is there some way to force this setting to change? I'm not finding much in the forums or Google, so i'm not sure if there's a program or some configuration file that can be changed for the HD graphics.
Thanks for suggestions,
-Dan
PS: Here's a video I found that shows an example of the issue and the nvidia fix, in case a reference is needed.

Retired StaffI've gotten so many warnings on this website that it is a miracle I am not terminally banned.
