Help me!

Everytime after I log in the game stops at the Mojang picture. I was trying to install this realistic looking texture pack thing and then everything got weird. I couldnt find the folder for where you put the texture pack in and then I found it in the game somehow where it asked to select which one. But then it wouldnt let me load it. I closed the game. Then when I try to open it everytime now it stops at the Mojang picture.

I have no idea where the Minecraft folder is on my computer. I search Minecraft and the only thing that pops up is the app itself. I deleted the texture packs hoping that would work, but it didnt. I restarted the computer, uninstalled, reinstalled the app (but it seems it keeps the info even when I delete it).

Nothing is working!

Also the Mojang picture looks different then when I didnt install the texture pack.

Did you install Optifine?

Open Terminal, type

rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/texturepacks/*
rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/options.txt

That should remove all your texture packs and clear your settings.

I did install Optifine. And it says those files do not exist
