Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me. About the a month ago my minecraft lost frames. I used to get 110 frames on vanilla and now i get 45, on mod packs i would get about 75 frames and now i get like 12. I tryed updating my java and that didnt work. I use optifine witch kind of helps but i want my minecraft to be the way it was before. I scanned my computer for viruses and found nothing and also try unistalling minecraft and reinstalling. I have a laptop with a quad core 2.5 gghz and a intel 4000 graphics card. I dont know whats wrong or what happened, i would just like suggestions on how to fix it.
Thanks
well you've tried optifine and stuff like that so it must just be the game. you could go to taskmanager and change the priority of the game, usally helps.
other than that i have no idea. sorry. and 110 frames?!?!?!
Dude 45 frames is perfect for minecraft even with mods it won't lag a little bit and another thing before you make a post about lag tell us your computer specs I can't read your thoughts ya know XD

Well Are you using multi-core chuck loading or does the mod pack not have optfine? you should get double the FPS with multi-core/smooth another thing is that while your CPU is pretty ok the graphics card is pretty ty don't mean to insult you but the intels are never that good another thing can you tell me how much RAM you have installed?

I have 6 gigs of ram. All my mod packs do have optifine. Where would i find my multi core chunk loading? is that in optifine? I tottally agree with you, intel graphic cards suck lol

Go to Options it should be on the first page of Options in optifine it will say chuck-loading normal Click it tell it changes to Multi-Core note that on some computers it might bug and randomly unloadchucks I don't know why but it does it on mine if it does then change to smooth
