I've been watching ihasCupquake's Oasis series, and since that modpack isn't available to the public (yet, hopefully), I've attempted to add mods to my Minecraft that are either from the series or that I found while searching. I've never used Forge before at this point, and have use MCPatcher to get all my mods to work. So I downloaded Forge and the Treecapitator mod, deleted META-INF (or whatever it's called), and tried to install it the manual way. Well, that didn't work, so I installed them through MCPatcher. It worked fine. Untill I tried to add on Xie's Mod, or more specifically, Xie's farming mod. It didn't show up at all, through MCPatcher or through manual install. So through MCPatcher, I turned off Treecapitator and tried, and it crashed my Minecraft. Then I tried turning both Forge and Treecapitator off, and it crashed. The report for the last crash is below. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I normally don't mod so I'm still learning the ways.

Xie's mod requires Forge, which is incompatible with MCPatcher. I recommend using Multimc instead to install mods as it works with Forge. Make sure you follow the installation instructions as Xie's mod needs to be in the mods folder and tree capitator needs to be in the coremods folder.

I'm downloading Multimc now, thank you for your help. What's the difference between the mods folder and the coremods folder?
Hiya, I had the same idea, but it never worked. I was wondering if you could upload the .jar file so others could use it? I know others could just learn to do it them selves or, like me, keep on trying, but it would be a great help and it would give me some fun in minecraft, especially with Mo creatures :3

Sharing any files created by Mojang e.g. minecraft.jar is against Mojang T&C's thus not allowed.
