(I'm not perfectly sure if this belongs here, but I've put it here since my client is modded, and perhaps there's an optimization problem with one of the mods or the like)
I'm running Minecraft 1.4.7 through MultiMC, with the following mods.
My minimum RAM allocation is 256 MB, while the maximum is 512 MB.
In the console, I do NOT get GL render errors. (like my old computer)
My specs are as follows: (I know it's unbalanced, don't comment on that)
-i7-3930k at 3.9 GHz on DX79SI motherboard
-GTX 660 at 1.03 GHz
-8GB DDR3-1600 RAM
Anything else anyone needs? I'll post it on request.
Every time I run past a given distance, I get a terrible stutter. I will typically get 60 fps (Adaptive VSync in Nvidia control panel does that) but when this stutter occurs, FPS ranges from 1-32. The stutter disappears for a while thereafter, until I start running a long distance again.
Here's a video of this happening, along with all my Optifine settings.
(Actually, I couldn't get the stuttering, apparently it only happens after a long session of Minecraft, I"ll capture it when I get the chance)
If anyone knows what I should do... that would be very helpful.
*bump* It seems to only happen with Audiotori on... and in 1.5.1 too, with the very same mods updated.
I keep Audiotori off because of this, but I would very much like to keep it on... (the regular sounds get boring after a while...)
