Hello minecraft community!
Firstly, here's what I have installed:
GLSL Shaders Mod
Sonic's Unbelievable Shaders
Sphax BdCraft 512x512
Optifine (Maxed settings)
I know what you're thinking already, this guy uses shaders and a 512x512 texturepack, he must be stupid to not expect lag right?
But my lag is a special case.
Firstly, my specs should be more than enough to handle this, I have
32GB Ram
Nvidia GTX 680 4GB Video Card
Intel i7 3770k 3.5Ghz 6 core processor
As far as lag goes, I only get it around spawn. Literally, I lag any place around spawn. I joined a server with 5 people on it and the only place I lagged is around spawn. Meanwhile, I can play literally anywhere else with around 40-50 FPS, and on single player I get around 60FPS. I really can't figure out what the cause of the lag is. I know player shadows cause lag, but I can be around 10-15 people (not around spawn), and not lag.
Things I've already tried: Turning down my render distance, setting java to high priority in task manager, doing a file dump (Takes 19GB, I'm not doing that), allocating more RAM to minecraft (Currently 16GB).

Sometimes the lag goes away and I end up with 50 fps, but it's incredibly inconsistent..
Hello.
