I want to install modloader and then install Rei's Minimap Mod, but this keep up showing after i properly install Modloader:

Besides it saying minecraft has crashed it says:

Have you tried Magic Launcher? I do all my modding through there, and it's super easy.

Haha sorry I'm new to the site. I downloaded this and tried but my minecraft still crashes. However, when I fix this problem, i will definitely use this.

My problem is:
What is this?
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Lbspkrs/util/ModVersionChecker;
And How do i fix this in order to put any mods on my minecraft ?

Sorry then, I guess I'm not much help. I don't know much about modding, that's why I use Magic Launcher in the first place, 'cause it does it all automatically, like...well, like magic

Yeah thanks for the link. I just need to find out what this is then I will definitely be using this But if you know anyone who can help me please have them see this post. I'm desperate for some help! I need mods!

Get Forge instead, it has a Forge-Compatible Modloader built in, so you can get Forge and Modloader mods. Forge ones might work.

OMG! YOU STILL USE MODLOADER?? LOL! You need to use MCForge, which btw is amazing and kicks modloaders ass!

Hmm... Try using MultiMC, (Google it) it works a lot like the magic launcher, but it is even simpler to install mods, each instance has SEPERATE saves so you don't accidentally load a world in the wrong instance and break it, AND it has a button to self-install the latest Forge. Having it download it for you may work better,

Back up your saves, and get a fresh install of Minecraft. Then make sure you have the proper update for both mods.
