I put the forge files in the jar like i have for every previous build,On a clean install But it sticks on the inital loading screen and doesn't go further
Having the same issue here.
Got rid of the initial jar file, downloaded 1.5, then downloaded forge, replaced files in the jar, then started minecraft. Stuck at Mojang screen.

Found the bug, It's that you need to delete everything starting with "Mojang" in the META INF folder now

Same here...this is what I have tried...and didn't work:
Using 7zip
Upgraded to 1.5
logged in...big chunks of builds missing and no mods working (thaumcraft/twilightforest)
tried:
reinstalling forge and mods in existing copy with saved worlds.
-stays black after MOJANG screen
backed up worlds and deleted .minecraft in roaming folder and downloads and redownloaded.
tried forge 6.6 and 7.7.0 (deleting entire META-INF file and also checking to see if it worked with only deleting the MOJANG files within the META-INF file)
On all four attempts forge is working and I can play....BUT as soon as I add the twilight forest and thaumcraft mods into the mod folder in .minecraft I just get a black screen after the MOJANG screen.

After I do everything it says to do the FML loader wont load up and it will load me to normal minecraft
what should I do?
I use winRAR should I use 7zip? Thanks in advance

The reason for the Forge META-INF is so the minecraft-server.jar will still run when executed. You can safely delete it on the client minecraft.jar. In either case delete the META-INF folder before instaltion (which by the way IS NOT a new step)
I think i may have figured it out, I'm not sure if someone else mentioned this but this is what i did. first i backed up my entire .minecraft folder just in case then i opened it and deleted all of the files yes all of them. i then updated minecraft closed it went to my new .jar file put forge in and deleted all the files in meta inf loaded it up and it worked. Let me know if this helped.
