Okay guys so I have come across an issue where the item once placed in an item frame is only seen from the back. So instead of seeing the item as you would normally when it's on a wall of solid blocks you cannot see the item.
The mods being used are:
Rei's Minimap
Inventory Tweaks
OptiFine
This issue has been found to occur on both Windows and Mac.
