I have been playing singleplayer these days because the server where i usually play is still waiting to bukkit to upload to the beta build 1.5.1 . And everything was going fine , but one day something went wrong...
I opened my singleplayer survival map as always and I found that it tok him OVER 2 MINUTES to load the map. Then , when I spawned , I was in the last place where I left the game last time , but there was something wrong with it. I had a redstone circuit just near me , which is a electric flow that goes over and over activating a piston every 8 seconds. The problem is that the redstone wasnt moving , the circuit is full of repeaters , but one wasnt activated in the middle of the circuit , and the redstone is glowing.
Other stuff :
-My dog doesnt look at me and ignores me.
-When clicking a bed i cant sleep , and chat doesnt give any message.
-Chucks wont load.
-Map isnt loaded outside the chunk I am.
-Nothing responds to anything.
-When breaking a block , nothing is dropped.
Stuff outside Minecraft :
-The folder with my map weighs 80 MB , while other folders with other maps weigh near 10 MB.
-My CPU goes to the 95% overall while loading/playing the map.
-The process javaw.exe uses aroung 1-1.2 GB to make minecraft work , while it usually needs 200-300 MB.
Screenshoots :
The map when you run outside of the loaded chunks :
How the CPU and the memory is going when the bad map is being used.
The javaw.exe process using 1.1 GB when it shouldnt:
The cooldown after closing minecraft:
So im wondering if there is any way to get my map back (I have some work on it , has been my singleplayer map for like 2 years).
Im using right now 1.5.1 and Optifine , but the map bugged when i had 1.5
The map (dont try to load it if u have a bad computer) : Garito.rar (49.0 MB)
(Mods that im using : Optifine for 1.5.1)
