So I am trying to run minecraft on fancy and normal view distance and I constantly seem to top out around 30 fps I am also using mindcrack. Anyway I thought my computer would be more then enough to play it cpu is an amd fx-6100 and my gpu us a gtx 650 I have a friend who has an amd athlon quad core and the 7750 and he gets 60 fps while running far and fancy with the same minecraft so why am I struggling to even run minecraft at all.

.... dude... 20-30 fps is godlike for me....
Oh, right, your problems.
It's possible you have too much stuff installed, or too many things running. Also, have you tried allocating more RAM to it? What's your graphics card?

This will fix it, you will get a lot more FPS if you download optifine. Optifine will help you a lot, download it, Minecraft will work a lot faster when you download it
