Okay so I had McForge working with 1.5. All my mods loaded, nothing was wrong. Then I updated MC (made a clean version that I had in backup) and mcforge to 1.5.1 and tested it and it loaded and I could get on a map and all that. Then I tried an updated version of one of my mods (no other mods were in the folder due to me updating and testing). As soon as the mod was in the folder the game would black screen after the Mojang logo. I tried this with many different mods but the same thing keeps happening. Any idea why this is? Its driving me insane simply because of the painting bug in 1.5. Thanks for any help that can be given! (Also as a side note, yes I have deleted the META-INF folder....)

Okay I tried all of that....still no luck with it...itll run mcforge fine until I put the mod in...whether I put it into the mods folder or into minecraft.jar...still gives me black screen right after the mojang symbol...

yeah its updated and everything and its Risugamis (I think I spelled that right) shelf mod...also (when back on my 1.5 update, had it saved since 1.5.1 wasn't working right) I tried downloading the little blocks mod but it does the same thing...

hmmmm okay, well the thing that got me though is it was actually working for awhile and then just stopped...the shelves would show up and I could put things on them...now they just appear as solid blocks in the menu and don't show up when placed....but I think it may actually be because of optifine...because after I installed that they started acting up, im not sure XD is there any way at all to put modloader and forge together by chance?

well shoot, okay, ill message Risugami about it and see if he can make his mods compatible with forge...im pretty sure his 1.5 ones were just not the 1.5.1 ones. Thanks for the help though!
