I'm running MultiMC (a multiple instance Minecraft client) under Ubuntu Linux. While playing, I get the same problem constantly. My keys seem to stick. This does not happen in any other application, just MultiMC, and the vanilla Minecraft client. I think my mouse clicks are sticking too, but I've only had that problem once, so it may be an anomaly.
As of now, I've fallen off a cliff to my death, ran right into a creeper as it exploded, and drowned in lava, and I've only gotten the game working on this computer for about an hour.
It tends to be the forward (W) key that sticks most often, but that's the one I use the most anyway. The only way to unstick the key is to press it again. This is not something I can get used to, as there tends to be a reason why I want to stop moving forward....
Please help. I'm not too new to Linux, so anything you might say, I might be able to follow.

You need to update LWJGL. Follow this tutorial for some advice!
Thank you so much! I won't be updating the driver just yet, as terminal commands confuse the hell out of me. I will keep the page for future instructions, just in case, though.
The little tip on that page works perfectly for now. If you F11 for fullscreen, the the input glitches go away. It runs just fine. I never really mess with the F keys, just F1/2, so I didn't even know fullscreen was possible. I just made the window big, lol... Keep in mind, I've played for over a year now....
