Not sure if this is in the right place and I am sure it has been asked before.
I have a windows 64 bit machine, java 64 bit installed, 16 GB RAM, AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor @ 3.6 GHz, and 1.5TB hard drive space.
display adapter: ATI Radeon 3000 onboard
Mods installed are very few(7): Forge,ReiMinimap, Better Blocks, Fancy Fences, Forge_PaintingSelectionGUI
Minecraft version is 1.4.7 with 8GB allocated memory through command line
I have no other programs running.
Frame rate is about 10-14 fps.
What could possibly be going on.
Again I appologize if this is in the wrong place, but this has been driving me nuts for the past week. I ran at 30 fps on my 32bit system with only 4GB Ram
Weird... Your fps should be 4 times more than mine. I run mine on 2 GB RAM and dual core and 64 bit. I get 30-50 fps running 90 mods. Try getting optifine ultra and go to task manager, go to details, find javaw.exe, right click, set priority and select realtime.
Your GFX card is very weak, try running the game at a lower resolution, also giving the game more ram, will not help - unless you can see it being used when pressing F3.
