I can't figure out how to disable or uninstall Galacticraft. The instructions also required me to download modloader so the mod is probably being used through it.
I don't want to uninstall, I just want to disable it, but instructions on how to also uninstall it without having to force update minecraft would also be appreciated.

Seriously, there needs to viewable crafting recipes in the game. Go support this idea. Also click on my profile to view my space thread under find content.
As far as I know, with modloader, you can't disable a mod. What I recommend you doing is either A: deleting the .jar and emptying the mods folder of anything galacticraft related (If modloader uses a mods folder yet, I haven't used modloader without forge in ages) then reinstall the jar, or B: download the .rar you used to install it again, open it up, and find all the files (.png, .class, etc...) it added, then delete them individually. (Do not delete the folders that Galacticraft uses, just the files, since almost all mods don't make their own folders, meaning you'll probably delete some basic classes if you delete the folders.)
