Recently I've been playing feed the beast on my macbook. It has worked fine for a long time, but now it just crashes randomly. Whenever I start to lag a bit the world stops and it displays the message,
"Shutting down the internal server"
It doesn't generate any crash reports either. Any suggestions?

For me personally it helped when I turned the graphics down
