Hello. Recently I uninstalled the mo creatures mod, and all that was needed, the gui, the mod loader, the custom mob spawner, using the force update function.
Now, When I first started up my world, I noticed no monsters would spawn at night or in dark caves. I then changed the game mode from normal to hard. And still nothing. I then opened up my creative map, only to find that monster will only spawn using eggs or spawn cages.
To fix this. I backed up my saves in a different folder, then deleted everything inside the .minecraft folder. apon restarting and creating a new world, i found monsters began to spawn again. When i then moved my older saves into this fresh minecraft, the problem persists in the older worlds.
I am playing on normal and not peacefull. And i have devoted too much time into my survival save, that i dont want to delete it and start over again. Please help me.
