How to remove Optifine?

I know, it sounds crazy, but I'd like to remove Optifine for the simple reason I don't like it. It's my opinion, please don't judge me. Is there anyway at all to remove/uninstall the Optifine? I prefer vanilla minecraft. Thanks.

just do a force update on the client login screen (options -> force update)

that should remove all mods etc

if you had other mods you will need to reinstall them after a force update
