This is for Jeb (and Notch or anyone else)
I've been installing some mods, and one day it just goes to the screen before the mojang logo screen, and then stops. This has been going on for days and I can't figure out whats wrong I've done everything.

Uninstall the mods

Force update

Delete the bin

Delete the minecraft folder (I have a Mac)

Restart my computer

Nothing. If anyone knows what this is please tell me.

I am not an expert with Macs, but it might be a problem with Java.

nope, I installed the latest version of Java and it still didnt work.

What I did is go to the Start button, search "%appdata%, click Roaming, right click .minecraft, and delete it. If the MC loads a bit long after that, don't worry. It is supposed to do that. After that, you will actually lose all of your texture packs, achievements, and servers on your server list. I would suggest writing everything down that you want to add again to your MC. I didn't, though. I usually only go on one server. Well, if it works, your welcome.

question are you able to login on minecraft's actual site and it's just the client that's an issue? could you post the error log?
