Ok, I got all the zip files I needed and even deleted my .mincraft file and re-dowloaded it so I can start with a clean slate. Still after clicking login, I get a black screen. What could be the issue.
It hasn't been 16 hours straight However, I am using the latest Minecraft version to date, also downloading all the current tools used in installing the mod itself. and all files were copied to the new .minecraft folder while it was open in WinRAR.

The mod is for 1.8 not the latest.... Mods aren't multiversion compatable

ok i doubt its been 16 hours for you but either way tell me what minecraft version you are using and what exactly in all you put in.
